I’m a brand strategist, narrative director, and writer with more than 20 years of experience helping brands and organizations figure out what they stand for, what they want to say, and how to say it in a way that matters.

My work sits at the intersection of strategy and language, from positioning, audience, and brand pillars to narrative, messaging architecture, verbal identity, and voice. I develop the strategic frameworks that give brands clarity and the language that makes those ideas meaningful to the people they need to reach.

I came to brand strategy through writing, and that remains one of my greatest strengths. I can move from the big idea to the words that bring it to life, which means the strategy doesn’t have to stop at the deck. I’ve carried it through brand books, websites, campaigns, editorial platforms, institutional communications, and other expressions of a brand in the world.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across global brands, agencies, startups, and mission-driven organizations, including Le Méridien, Johnson & Johnson, Absolut, Bergdorf Goodman, Neutrogena, and Aveeno.

What connects the work is what has always interested me most: finding the clearest, most compelling expression of what makes a brand or organization distinct, and building the narrative, messaging, and voice that allow other people to see it too.
